Hi, my name is Molly, although my owners say it is really Athanmas Mollymook Mischif. They also say that never has a dog's third name been more appropriate. Quite what they mean I have no idea!

As neither Elsa nor my Mum seem to want the job I have taken it upon myself to assume the role of top dog. It was, after all, what I was brought into this world to do. My owners obviously recognise my importance as well because they make sure that I am not disturbed by the other two at meal times as I am allowed to eat in a room on my own. I am always amazed at how slowly Elsa and Sabah eat their food. I have offered to show them how to eat it more quickly but no one seems willing to take up my kind offer.

My owners have taken down the fencing which was inside the garden when my brothers and sister were still here and I can wander anywhere I want. My favourite spot is the herb patch although my brothers and sister and I flattened most of the herbs quite some time ago.

I have recently tried to master the art of swimming and I am slowly making progress but I do find it a bit disconcerting when I suddenly start floating. We go down to the beach on most days and the waves can be a bit of a problem sometimes. Sabah goes off and does her own thing out in the deep bit. She swims for hours and has got shoulders like Sharon Davies because of it! Elsa just spends her time ducking under the water to retrieve stones.

I have made friends with Harry the Rottweiler who is a little bit bigger than me. Well, actually, Harry is a bit bigger than most people. Elsa and Sabah give him a wide berth because they think that he is going to eat them, or something. He's really a big pussy cat.
