We currently have two dogs, Elsa and Sabah. Elsa was named after the lioness in Born Free; the name is Scandinavian and equates to the English forename Elizabeth. The name is quite appropriate in another context as her mother's name is Good Queen Bess (after Queen Elizabeth I). We tried to preserve the African connection of Born Free when we named our second dog. Sabah, in one of the African languages, means born in the morning.

Elsa, who has a traditional golden coat, and has just finished rearing her first litter who have now gone to their new homes. We wish the best of luck and happiness to all of the families who have chosen one of Elsa's (and Sabah's) beautiful puppies.

Unfortunately we do not have any puppies available at the moment but we hope to breed from Elsa again and also from Sabah, (our cream coated Golden Retriever who was a very loving auntie and playmate to all of Elsa's recent litter of ten puppies) during 2009.
